The CertHE in Commercial Music offered by LCCM is a one-year certificate course designed that focuses on teaching students the fundamentals of business and economics within the context of the Music, Entertainment, and Consumer Tech industries. It emphasizes the importance of digital channels and entertainment content in engaging customers and building loyalty for all modern enterprises, whether in the creative sector or not. 

The curriculum includes key business vocabulary, frameworks, and practical skills such as understanding cashflow and market positioning. Students will also develop academic study skills through the analysis of case studies from the entertainment and tech industries.

Furthermore, the course offers two practical modules of the students' choice, wherein they apply the knowledge gained to build and develop an event, an artist project, or a digital product like a song, NFT, video, or app wireframe. Overall, the course aims to prepare students to succeed in the creative industries and beyond by providing a comprehensive understanding of business, economics, and innovation.
